What duo queue actually feels like
You log in to League at the agreed time. You add the booster as a friend, queue together, and play your usual position (or a specific one if you bought the role-lock upgrade). The booster picks a power-spike champion, you play yours.
They typically jungle or support — the roles with the most carry potential without forcing you off your main. You play 5–8 games per session. They'll voice-call (Discord) if you want, or stay text-only on the in-game chat. Most customers are surprised how casual it feels — it's closer to playing with a friend who is just much, much better than you.
Critically: you finish the climb genuinely understanding why you won the games. Players who duo from Gold to Plat usually stay in Plat, while solo customers sometimes drop a division back as the booster's influence fades.
What solo queue actually looks like
You drop your account credentials at checkout, hit pay, and within 11 minutes a Diamond+ booster matched to your region logs in. They run on a Sydney residential VPN, in offline mode, on your champion pool (or theirs if you took the cheaper option).
You watch the LP go up on the order page's live match log. You can pause anytime — hit the pause button, the booster logs out within 60 seconds, you log in and play your own games, hit resume, the booster picks back up. Most customers take a daily peek at the match log and otherwise just wait for the “rank hit” notification 2–4 days later.
The downside: zero learning. You arrive at the new rank with the same gameplay as before. If you don't have the mechanics for it, you'll likely drift back down within 2–3 weeks. Pair solo with a 1-hour coaching session to maximize retention — a $79 trial often saves the boost.

Frequently asked questions
How much more does duo queue boost cost than solo on OCE?+
Duo queue is typically 25% more expensive than solo for the same rank target. A Gold IV → Platinum IV solo boost is around AUD $165, while the same target via duo runs about $206. The reason: the booster invests roughly the same amount of game time, but they coordinate with you instead of grinding straight.
Is duo queue boosting faster or slower than solo?+
Duo is roughly 30% slower in real-time because both players have to be online together. A solo boost grinding 20-hour days hits the target faster than two people coordinating evening sessions. If speed matters most, pick solo. If you want to play and learn alongside the booster, pick duo.
Which option is safer from Riot's anti-boost detection?+
Duo queue is meaningfully safer above Diamond because no one logs into your account except you. Below Diamond, solo with proper Sydney-residential VPN matching, appear-offline, and champion matching is statistically as safe. The detection model's biggest signal — IP region change — only triggers on solo, and only if your service skips VPN matching.
Will I learn anything from a duo boost?+
Yes — and this is duo's biggest underrated benefit. Playing 20 games alongside a Challenger jungler watching your wave management, ward placement, and trading patterns is the highest-bandwidth learning environment outside of paid coaching. Many duo customers stay in their new rank because the climb itself was a coaching session.
Can I duo with a specific role only?+
Yes. At checkout, the ‘specific roles’ upgrade ($5 AUD) lets you lock the booster to one role — typically support or jungle if you want to focus on lane learning, or top/mid if you want a tutor on your main role. We match a Diamond+ booster who mains that role.
