Why this guide exists
Most LoL boosting articles you'll find online are written for the North American or European servers. The Oceania server (OCE) is a fundamentally different climb — fewer total players, faster matchmaking, more rank volatility patch-to-patch, and a much smaller pool of high-elo boosters. That changes pricing, timing, and the safety calculus.
This guide is the document we wish existed when we started boosting on OCE in 2019. It's honest about ban risk, transparent about pricing, and specific to the Sydney-hosted server. If you're an Aussie or Kiwi League player thinking about a boost, read this once before you spend a dollar.
What is OCE LoL boosting?
An OCE LoL boostis a paid service where a Diamond, Master, or Challenger-rank player (a “booster”) plays ranked games on your account or alongside it until you reach a target rank you bought.
- Solo boost — you hand over your login, the booster grinds your account, you watch the LP go up.
- Duo queue boost — you queue together. You play yourself, the booster carries.
- Placement matches — booster plays your 10 provisional games at the start of a season for the highest possible placement.
- Net wins — booster wins a fixed number of games regardless of how many losses (cheaper, slower).
- Coaching— booster doesn't play your account, they teach. Most expensive per hour, but it's the only one Riot doesn't consider boosting.
Throughout this guide, “boost” defaults to solo unless we say otherwise.
OCE pricing in AUD — 2026 baseline
Pricing on OCE is competitive because the booster pool is small (~30 active boosters across all reputable services). Below are real, honest mid-market AUD prices for a solo queue boost, priced in 100 LP increments.
| From → To | Solo (AUD) | Duo (+25%) | Avg duration |
|---|---|---|---|
| Iron IV → Bronze IV | $25 | $31 | 8–14h |
| Bronze IV → Silver IV | $45 | $56 | 12–20h |
| Silver IV → Gold IV | $95 | $119 | 20–30h |
| Gold IV → Platinum IV | $165 | $206 | 32–48h |
| Platinum IV → Emerald IV | $240 | $300 | 30–45h |
| Emerald IV → Diamond IV | $340 | $425 | 30–48h |
| Diamond IV → Diamond I | $420 | $525 | 36–60h |
| Diamond I → Master | $640 | $800 | 40–70h |
| Master 0 LP → 250 LP | $220 | $275 | 20–35h |
All prices are mid-market for May 2026. Hard surge events (e.g. World Championship patch chaos) can push duo prices up another 10–15%. Use our live boost calculator for an exact instant quote.
What “safe” actually means on OCE
The honest answer on safety: there is no zero-risk LoL boost because boosting violates the Terms of Service. What you can control is the size of that risk. The risk multiplier is almost entirely about the booster's operational hygiene, not the boost itself.
On OCE, the four things that change ban probability by an order of magnitude:
- IP region match— your account's historical logins are recorded. If a Brazilian IP suddenly plays on your Sydney-based account at 4am, Riot's session-detection model flags it. Reputable OCE services run Sydney residential VPNs matched to the customer's ISP whenever possible.
- Appear offline + no friend interaction— if someone on your friends list messages you mid-boost and gets no reply for hours, then a screenshot of you in a Diamond game lands in their DMs the next day, that's how reports originate. Always boost in offline mode.
- No champion identity collisions — if your main is Karthus and the booster only plays Yone, the play-style shift is detectable across enough games. Specific-champions upgrade ($5/champion) keeps the booster on your meta.
- Warranty backing — without a real warranty, a ban is your problem. With our 90-day warranty, any account action linked to the boost gets a full refund or paid appeal.

Solo vs duo — when each makes sense
The pricing table above shows duo costs about 25% more than solo and takes 30% longer. Why pick duo at all?
- You don't want anyone signing in on your account (most common reason).
- You want to play live with a Challenger and learn during the climb (huge for permanent rank gain).
- You're Diamond+ — Riot's session detection is tighter the higher your rank, and duo eliminates account-sharing entirely.
- You play a flex five-stack with a fixed friend group and need to climb together.
Pick solo when speed and lowest cost matter and you're below Diamond. The full breakdown is in our Duo vs Solo guide.
How OCE differs from NA, EUW, and KR
If you've seen pricing or guides for other servers, here's why they don't map to OCE cleanly:
- Player count: ~150k weekly active on OCE vs ~1m+ on NA/EUW. Smaller pool means a smaller percentage of Diamond+ players overall — climbing past Diamond is genuinely harder.
- Booster pool: OCE has ~30 reputable working boosters. NA has 200+. This means OCE pricing has less downward pressure but higher quality consistency.
- Patch volatility: smaller player base means meta shifts hit OCE harder — a single OP champion in a patch changes 50–100 LP's worth of climbing speed for 2 weeks.
- Latency: NA/EUW boosters playing on your OCE account introduce 200ms+ ping which Riot's match server logs. Always insist on a Sydney-based booster.
- Currency: OCE is the only server where AUD pricing without conversion fees actually makes a difference at checkout. Avoid USD-priced services that charge you a 3% FX surcharge on top.
What you should expect during a boost
Concretely:
- Within 11 minutes of order placement, a booster is assigned and starts.
- Live match log: every game shows up on your order page with KDA, champion, win/loss, and LP delta within 30s of the post-game screen.
- Pause anytime: hit the pause button on the order page, the booster logs out within 60s. You can play; resume whenever.
- Live chat with the booster: every order has a chat window directly with the assigned booster.
- Done = LP confirmation screenshot: order doesn't close until you've seen and accepted the final rank.
- 90 days post-boost: warranty active. Any account action linked to the boost = automatic refund.
Frequently asked OCE boost questions
How much does a LoL boost cost on OCE in 2026?+
An OCE LoL boost typically costs between AUD $15 and AUD $1,500 depending on your starting and target rank. As a rule of thumb: Iron → Bronze runs about $25, Silver → Gold $80–$120, Gold → Platinum $150–$220, Platinum → Diamond $280–$420, and Diamond → Master starts at around $600. Add 25% for duo queue, 15% for streaming, and 20% for priority queue.
How long does an OCE boost take to complete?+
On OCE, full-time boosters typically clear 1.5 to 2.5 divisions per day in solo queue. A Gold IV → Platinum IV boost (4 divisions) usually takes 36–60 hours of game time spread across 2–4 days. Duo queue is roughly 30% slower because both players have to be online together.
Is OCE LoL boosting safe? Can I get banned?+
Boosting violates Riot's Terms of Service. The actual ban risk on OCE is low if you use a reputable service that matches your booster's IP region (Sydney for OCE), uses appear-offline, and skips friends/duos during the boost. RiftRise's OCE boosters run a Sydney residential VPN matched to your historical login region. Across 12,000+ orders since 2019 we have a zero-ban record. The 90-day warranty covers any account action linked to the boost.
What is the OCE server in League of Legends?+
OCE is Riot Games' Oceania server, hosted in Sydney, Australia. It serves players from Australia, New Zealand, Indonesia, the Philippines, and the Pacific Islands. It has fewer total players than NA or EUW (~150k weekly active vs 1m+) which means matchmaking is faster but rank inflation can be more volatile patch-to-patch.
Solo boost vs duo boost on OCE — which is better?+
Pick solo if speed and the lowest cost matter — you give the booster your account and they grind without distraction. Pick duo if you don't want anyone logging into your account, you want to learn from the booster live, or you want to climb on flex queue. Solo is typically 25% cheaper and 30% faster, but duo is the safer choice for high-elo (Diamond+) where Riot's behavioral detection looks more carefully at usage patterns.
Do OCE LoL boosts include placements?+
Most full-rank boosts assume your account is already placed. If you're starting fresh after a season reset, our Placements service runs your 10 placement matches with a Diamond+ booster for AUD $129 — usually slotting you 2–3 divisions higher than soloing them yourself.
Can I pay in AUD without a card surcharge?+
Yes — every OCE boost on RiftRise is priced in AUD with zero card surcharge. We accept Visa, Mastercard, Amex, PayPal, BPAY, Afterpay (4 interest-free), PayID for direct bank transfer, and crypto (BTC / ETH / USDT / SOL).
What if I can't play because someone is on my account?+
Solo boosts run mostly between 11pm–6am Sydney time when most customers are asleep. We schedule around your peak hours and pause the second you log in. Order page has a 'pause' button — click it, the booster hops off within 60 seconds.
